While I’m on the dance tip, this is what I grew up being influenced by and watching. I have good copies of this on DVD, I always make people watch it when they come over. Even though they (the Mop Top Crew) were from the east coast, when this video came out EVERYBODY was dancing like this. This video and style started a whole wave of kids on this coast emulating this stee. The form is called “House” dancing or “Housing” and is considered a form of dance (that perhaps originated from the house music scene originally) but as I know it has always been a hip hop thing. Biggup to Diane Martel for doing such a great job, some of her best earlier work. Now that I’m heading down memory lane…watching this..I had the biggest crush on Chinaboy…

If you haven’t seen Bob Fosse’s “A Snake in the Grass” you haven’t seen where MJ got his whole steez from. Check out some of these videos. The first is the original movie. The 2 others are comparisons of Bob Fosse + Billie Jean…

Found this on Retna’s blog. Haven’t had a chance to really peep Bl!iss Magazine yet, but I love the work 7th Letter Crew did for the cover and the spread. I want to do something like this for myself. A mad fly and artistic way to do nudes or semi-nudes. I wish I could do it with Hello Kitty art or maybe Kaws. Perhaps people have been doing it for years, but I believe he’s the OG that kinda got me into this whole steez…when he did the poster for Tokion. Anyhow, fly girls with fly art is always Bl!ss…excellent work!

Recently I happen to catch author Gary Zukav on a talk-radio show. He had some great insights and points to attracting spiritual connections and partnerships you really want…check it out (although sometimes easier said than done!) :
